February 21, 2017 Quintana Roo (QR), which is celebrating 30 years of manufacturing triathlon-specific bikes, has today announced a three-year partnership with Team MPI. This collaboration will 'bring more cycling training opportunities to Team MPI coaches and team members.'

"This is the type of partnership we truly enjoy," said Peter Hurley, CEO of American Bicycle Group. "Team MPI brings various levels of athletes to our sport, from beginner to professional, which is what we also want to do, and we are both dedicated to helping each athlete achieve his or her goals. It's a great fit."

"Team MPI prides itself on partnering with not only leaders in the industry, but also with respected companies that want to improve athletes' athletic lives," added MPI CEO and Head Coach Mark Sortino. "American Bicycle Group with their Quintana Roo and Litespeed brands are that kind of company, and we couldn't be more excited to begin this journey with them."

QR is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and owned by American Bicycle Group (ABG). The bike brand's new Team MPI partnership is not only a collaboration with the Team MPI coaches, but also ties-up with the team's training camps and Team MPI-produced triathlons. It is one of a full year of activities, events and rebates celebrating ABG's three decades of developing and producing award-winning triathlon specific bikes.
