CAF's Dodge Paratriathon Camps

MPI has been involved with Paratriathlon since it's inception in early 2010.  Through a close relationship with Challenged Athletes Foundation's® (CAF), MPI Coaches have been the primary CAF's Dodge Paratriathlon Camps Coaches for all of their National Paratriathlon Camps.  MPI is a strong supporter of CAF and contributes money on every registration at every MPI Evnet to Catch a Rising Star (CRS) program that provides post-rehabilitation support and mentoring to individuals who have suffered a traumatic injury, have a physically impairing disease or were born with a congenital impairment resulting in a physical disability.

Not only does MPI coordinate, organize and run the national CAF's Dodge Paratriathlon Camps, but also MPI Coaches contine to train Paratriathletes with daily plans around the country.  In addition to Performance Coaching Plans, MPI Coach Coach Peter Harsch started 2012 with the launch of a new training series. On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, TeamMPI Coach Peter is offering cycling/run/stretch classes at the newly built Deni & Jeff Jacobs Challenged Athletes Center. The center, located in San Diego, CA, is equipped with a full gym including treadmills and trainers that will allow for a complete training environment for new and seasoned athletes. The newly added classes will be the first official classes offered at the center and will assist each athlete to advance their skills for the race season. The focus will be to improve the conditioning of athletes with physical disabilities as well as athletes looking to improve in each discipline. The classes will be open any amputee athletes and to abled bodied athletes for a minimal $5.00 donation to CAF.  Check out the FLYER for more information.
