Mike grew up in Utah and raced competitively as an alpine ski racer. This expanded to racing road bikes during the summer. Although he still dabbles in the road racing, his passion is now riding and racing mountain bikes. Mike now resides in Boise and has successfully infected his wife and their 3 daughters with the mountain bike bug. He spends his free time coaching a local high school mountain bike team and holds a Level III coaching License from the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). He has a passion for the sport of mountain bikes and the outdoors in general.
