Team MPI Tip Tuesday: Water Bottles
Your water bottles might need a little attention
The off-season is a great time to get your gear organized, cleaned, and ready for the upcoming training and racing season. Let's start with water bottles. They get a little gunky after a while.
Take a few minutes this week to toss the bottles that might need to go live in that Great Race Course in the sky.
For the bottles due for deep cleaning, soaking them with a vinegar solution is a safe and inexpensive way to sanitize them (that doesn't involve chemicals and bleach).
To do this, use about 1/4 cup of white vinegar and fill the rest of your bottle with warm water. Let it sit overnight, pour out in the morning, and you’re ready for the next training block!
