Team MPI Coaches Retreat Recap

The annual East Coast Team MPI Coaches Retreat took place on January 11 & 12 in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida. Team MPI coaches were joined by guest coaches for an information-packed day on Saturday that generated a lot of lively discussion. Coaches Mark Sortino, Laura Henry, Adam Sczech, Becky Piper, and Mark Turner as well as Earl Walton from IRONMAN U, presented on topics including mental strength, coaching para-athletes, bike fit, and best practices in swim coaching.

Sunday was a half-day meeting for just Team MPI coaches to discuss team-building, social media, Maria Netherland's presentation on partnerships, and other topics of relevance.

One of the things we hear reflected in guest coach attendees year after year is how unique Team MPI is with its focus on collaboration, transparency, and TEAM. We are proud to bring this strength to all of our athletes!

Coaches and athletes - plan to join us in Tempe on November 20th or next January on the East Coast! It's a fantastic time!
