training with Coach Gregg Edelstein
I live in South Boston currently, but I am moving to Westwood, MA in the next month or so. I am the product manager for ASICS Runkeeper at ASICS Digital in downtown Boston. I am semi-new to the sport and have completed four sprint triathlons. I played soccer my entire life through college at Miami University (OH) and am an avid skier, hiker, and tennis player.
My main race goals this year are to complete my first Olympic distance tri and finish top-25 in the War at the Shore sprint at the end of June. The biggest challenge I face right now is training with shin splints. They've been sidelining me for the last 6+ months, so adjusting training to make sure I do not make things worse is a big challenge.
A fun fact about me is that I can convince people that just about anything is a salad. 🥗🤔
When decided to commit to an Olympic distance tri this year, I wanted to do it the right way so I can continue on to compete at this distance and longer going forward. I searched online and found Coach Gregg. He gave me a call right away and yea now we're here. I'm super excited and grateful to have found Team MPI and Coach Gregg. It's going to be a wild and awesome ride!
😨 Post-Workout Comment of the Week 😅
"My husband was getting ready for work and texted me later to ask how I was doing. He said judging by the sound of your tire, that must have been an unenjoyable workout! 😂😂😂"

Team MPI athlete post-workout comments are an important part of athlete-coach communication. They are often quite revealing and humorous in the aftermath of a workout gone well or awry!
