It’s tempting to only think of the big muscle movements in swimming, biking, or running. But body parts don't work in isolation. A bunch of small movements work together to create “big” actions, like walking, running, swimming, or cycling. This is something that is commonly referred to as “cross-body connection" and it SHOULD heavily influence your strength, mobility, and flexibility routines.

Team MPI Athlete Weekend Highlights!

We're Celebrating Everyday Commitment To Goals!

Michael and Cortney Bell conquered the oppressive Texas heat and finished the IRONMAN VR3 race!

Mary Houck (and team) enjoyed some "nature therapy" with an 8-mile hike into Dexter Lake.

Jason Freeman didn't let a little rain stop him from getting out and getting his run in this weekend!

Team MPI Group Zwift Ride

When: Tuesday, April 21, 2020

Time: 6:20 pm to 7:45 pm Eastern time

Where: Zwift

Join a virtual group bike workout with Team MPI athletes and coaches!

Because Zwift doesn't quite support group structured workouts, there are a few extra steps you'll need to take to join the party. Here's how:

1. Follow Coach Kelly Ryan in the Zwift companion app

2. Coach Kelly will invite you to the ride and you can "join" the meetup on Zwift

3. While you're spinning, waiting for the group to start, click Menu and select the workout (6 WK Beginner FTP BUILDER-WEEK 5- Day 1- Foundation).

4. You should now be back with the group, waiting for the workout to begin.

The Zwift workout will start at 6:30 pm EST. The Zoom call will begin at 6 pm. Contact your coach for the Zoom link to join the event!
