Have you felt more tired than usual lately? Maybe found it a little hard to concentrate on tasks? Have you noticed a drop in motivation to get your workouts (or other things) done? Or maybe when you laced up your running shoes or jumped on the trainer, you noticed a drop in pace or watts.
You’re probably not being dramatic. These are all common symptoms of emotional exhaustion! Coach Gregg gives us some common symptoms and treatments for emotional exhaustion and how athletes can become mentally stronger through it.
Preventing injury and general maintenance is a consideration for a lot of athletes, in particular athletes that have dealt with injury and don't want to have to go there again. Frequently these prevention strategies focus on keeping the range of motion in muscles and ensuring good blood return throughout the body's system.
These are done through stretching, compression garments, foam rollers, yoga classes, etc. What about the fascia, though? Wait, what is fascia? What is its function, and how do I fix it if its "broken"?

Team MPI Group Zwift Ride
Join athletes and coaches for another virtual group ride!
Because Zwift doesn't quite support group structured workouts, there are a few extra steps you'll need to take to join the party. Here's how:
1. Follow Coach Kelly Ryan in the Zwift companion app
2. Coach Kelly will invite you to the ride and you can "join" the meetup on Zwift
3. While you're spinning, waiting for the group to start, click Menu and select the workout (6 WK Beginner FTP BUILDER-WEEK 5- Day 1- Foundation).
4. You should now be back with the group, waiting for the workout to begin.
The Zwift workout will start at 6:30 pm EST. The Zoom call will begin at 6 pm. Contact your coach for the Zoom link to join the event!
