Preparation Is In The Bank
Continuing on from the them from last week on how much YouTube I watch regularly, this week I'm bringing you a fun clip of Olympian and aging professional swimmer, Cody Miller. I say "aging" with a wink as he's only 32...but for swimming that's starting to get long in the tooth!I've watched Cody on and off for years. Goal Setting for Athletes
his week I'd like to discuss goal setting for athletes. This can be a tricky task as it often involves our ego, self-esteem and even our tenacious and bold attitude. Should we be conservative and make all our goals easily reachable? Or should we reach for the sky and set very challenging goals? There are many answers because there are many factors to consider!

Brown Fat?
For those in the northern hemisphere, it's time to get your brown fat working! Brown fat?"Brown fat is a special type of fatty tissue found in little pockets under the collarbones, along the sides of the spine, and throughout the abdominal cavity close to internal organs", writes Robyn Fog for Backpacker online.

Injuries Are Tough, But We Can Recover
Any "active person" who has ever been injured (all of us?) knows how disruptive it can be to our daily lives. For some, it can be a nuisance, while for others it can seem devastating. But it's HOW we deal with the injury from the beginning that can have the biggest and most positive impact on our lives.
