Welcome to Coach Maria’s Monday Minute! This week, we’re going to discuss meal-planning.
My family is getting back to meal-planning. What’s driving this? 1. Busy, busy, busy with work. 2. We’re concerned with the quality and quantity of the food we’re choosing to put in our bodies. 3. I’m tracking my food with an app on my phone to get myself more dialed in for training. 4. I fell off the meal-planning wagon.
We go through fits and starts with meal-planning, but I find a few things are true when we meal plan. 1. My training yields better results when we plan our meals. 2. Food tracking is easier when we meal plan (input it once and you just have to click on that meal again to add to your food log). 3. Portion control! I know how much I need to be eating and that’s what I eat! 4. We stick to our grocery budget more closely when we have a meal plan!
